Will I receive every photo from the shoot?
You receive the final edited images included in your package. Not every frame from the shoot. Only the images that bring real value to you. You select your favorites from an online gallery and those are the ones I retouch and deliver. Additional images are available if you want more.
How far in advance should I book?
For corporate headshot days I recommend at least two to three weeks out. For events, four weeks minimum so we have time to go through your run of show and build the shot list together. For commercial productions six weeks or more so the pre-production process has room to breathe. The earlier the better for everyone.
Where are you based and where do you work?
I am based in Sterling, Virginia. I work throughout Northern Virginia, Washington DC, and Maryland. I also travel throughout the United States for the right projects. Reach out with the details and we will figure out what makes sense.
Do you work in a studio or on-location?
Mostly on-location. I come to your office, your gym, your venue, or wherever the images need to be made. For productions where a studio environment makes more sense, that is something
Is hair and makeup included?
Not included in the base rate. I coordinate hair and makeup through trusted third-party vendors starting at $450. If you want it added we confirm the vendor and cost at booking. I recommend it for most headshot days and commercial productions.
How many images will I receive?
It depends on the service. Corporate headshot days include one retouched image per person with the option to purchase more. Solo headshot packages include three to five retouched images depending on the tier. Fitness productions include retouched hero images and natural edited photos based on the package. Commercial productions include a defined deliverable count built into the scope before we confirm the booking. You always know what you are getting before we start.
Can you match our existing headshot style or brand look?
Yes. If you have brand guidelines, background colors, lighting references, or existing headshots you want to match bring them to the planning call. I will build the shoot around that so new images integrate seamlessly with what you already have.
What should people wear?
Solid colors. Clean lines. Nothing with a loud pattern or a logo that will date the photo in six months. Bring two to three options, so we have variety. If you want guidance on what works best for your brand or industry, I am happy to advise during the planning process.
Can you handle product launches and campaign shoots?
Yes. That is commercial production. We build a shot list together before the day, a production assistant is on set, we shoot tethered so you can review images in real time, and the deliverables are defined and agreed on before we confirm the booking. Reach out and we will start with a conversation about what you are building.
How does payment work?
A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to hold your date. The remaining balance is due Net 15 from the date you confirm your final selections. If your organization requires Net 30 or Net 60 payment terms that is something we discuss during the planning call and confirm in writing before booking. ACH is preferred. Cards are accepted with a 3% processing fee itemized separately.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
If you need to reschedule with two or more weeks notice there is no fee. We find a new date based on availability.
If you reschedule with less than two weeks notice a 20% rescheduling fee applies.
If you cancel within 48 business hours of the shoot date 50% of the retainer is forfeited. If we find a replacement date no additional fee applies. If no replacement is found you receive a 12-month voucher for the full retainer value.
If a shoot is postponed with two or more weeks notice there is no fee and a 12-month voucher is issued. If postponed with less than two weeks notice a 20% fee applies and a 12-month voucher is issued.
All retainers are non-refundable.
Do you offer retainer agreements for ongoing work?
Yes. For clients who need regular headshot days, event coverage, or commercial productions throughout the year I offer structured retainer agreements built around your marketing calendar and volume. Retainer clients get priority scheduling, locked dates, and a defined annual scope confirmed in writing before we start.
